FALL FOLLIES

With the heat of the summer behind us, I look forward each morning to enjoying fresh coffee in the crisp cool mornings. The summer was extra busy with canning, working with my quilt club selling cookbooks, meetings, and more meetings, and more meetings in preparation for our quilt club's support for the annual "Bluegrass Quilt Festival", led by three ladies of our club.  It has come and gone with spectacular results of a success!  Kudos to the gals who worked so very hard.

Hopefully, things can slow down a bit now.  Would like to focus on family, and getting together, as the holidays head this way.  How do you handle the holidays?  Do you start with plans of ease, beauty, relaxing, picture book scenes.  Or, do you get overly tired, burdened down, out of patience with all that surrounds you?  Even though I have the greatest desires, and plans to do better, every year the same exhausting shadows follow me around.  I'm chasing myself!

This year, you can help me, and yourself, as we prayerfully support one another through this blog.  I am new to blogging, although I have enjoyed reading and learning from others' blogs for several years.

Stay tuned for future writings.  Blessings to you,
Sandy (p.s.) Found my first blog (this is it), but had to type it over.  Just want to keep records in tack.

Finding my way through the internet lingo is puzzling.  Clicking on certain boxes to see what 'happens'!, has deleted my first post.  Also, deleted the Archives, and what ever I try, can not locate and re-enter.  All will come out in the wash. :)

Looking for a calendar to put on my page.  Need something colorful, want to change with the season of month (holidays).  This time of the year is my favorite.

Went for my mammogram today.  October is Breast Cancer recognition.  Needed new shoes.  Have a pronation problem.  Bought a relatively nice, sturdy pair at Walmart.  White leather. $20 bucks, fit nicely with my inserts.  Seems I need a new pair every 3 to 5 months whether they cost $20 or $80.  Maybe my knees will calm down a bit.

Exhausted from going out.  Came home and crashed looking at the mail, computer, and TV.  Still have the AC on today.  First I'm cold, then I'm hot.  Darling Daughter came by with gr-grandbaby.  That was fun.  She is 14 months old, letting us know she found her belly button!

Have had my crying spells this week with the return of the young lady from Italy (Knox), and the passing of Steve Jobs.  But, all is in the course of things called 'life'.

Well, back to work trying to reclaim my first blog and my archives.  Searching....searching....
